Description of Project

Portsmouth Commons is an innovative concept from the Portsmouth Union Church (PUC) that seeks to demonstrate a path for faith-based organizations to convert underutilized property into quality affordable housing for underserved populations. Portsmouth Commons provides 20 affordable housing units in North Portland, primarily dedicated to serving homeless Veterans from underserved communities. Development services partners include Do Good Multnomah, the National Association for Black Veterans, the Native American Rehabilitation Association, and the African American Alliance for Homeownership.
